Finally got another hour to work on my guitar project . I started with some shaping of the body and a mockup of where everyrhing is going. There will be a set of symore duncan vintage blues pickups , with a fender mid. I bought a gibson prewired 2 tone 2 volume and a push/ pullswitch to split the pickups , and changed to a 5 way switch to take the middle pickup aswell ... not sure how this will turn out but I like the look so far. The guitar is getting on nicely, here it is placed on another one of my projects.. The guitars shape is still not 100s , but i love the look of the antique oak parquet flooring on the reclaimed iroko. When I was thinking of lights for Andrews studio , I had the idea of using old guitars and Andrew gave me this old guitar he started making 20 years ago and never finished . I end up not using it and made the ones on the left instead , but i did mock his guitar up and now its got a place against the wall as a piece of art .
